Privacy Statement Sadechaf bv

Sadechaf bv, having its registered office at Slachthuisstraat 120 b7 in 2300 Turnhout  registered with the CBE under VAT number BE0446.933.735, deems the protection of the privacy of its customers and business contacts extremely important. As such, we want to inform you, show that we respect you and give you control over what happens with your personal data. In this Privacy Statement, we explain to you which data we process, how we process them, and for which purposes.  We also inform you about your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

By providing your personal data to Sadechaf via the Website or contacts with employees of Sadechaf bv, you declare that you have read this Privacy Statement, that you accept its terms, and that you grant your consent to the processing of your personal data.

Article 1 – General

1.1.       Sadechaf bv complies with the “Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data”, as amended by the Law of 11 December 1998; as well as the anti-spam provisions of Book XII of the Code of Economic Law on the ” Law of the electronic economy “.

1.2.       Sadechaf also complies with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data. (the General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”)

Article 2 – Personal Data

2.1. Personal data provided by you:

  • your IP address;
  • if you subscribe to our newsletter : your e-mail address;
  • via cookies we create statistics on the usage of our Website;
  • Invoicing and delivery data , names of contacts, e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

 2.2. Sadechaf bv has various ways of collecting your (personal) data:

  • via contacts by phone or in person , or via a contact request submitted via the Website

2.3. The Website uses cookies to collect a number of personal data. For the provisions on the use of cookies, we refer to Article 10.

Article 3 – Purposes of the data processing

3.1.       General purposes:

Sadechaf bv shall process your personal data exclusively for the following purposes: :

  • IP-address: managing and improving our Website and creating anonymous statistics, that cannot be traced to any specific individual or company, the legal basis being the legitimate interests of Sadechaf bv to continuously improve its Website and service offer;
  • e-mail address:sending you direct marketing content, newsletters etc. with your explicit prior consent as a legal basis. You may at any time retract your consent;
  • cookies:improving the user experience of our Website, with your explicit prior consent as a legal basis;
  • invoicing and delivery data, names of contacts, e-mail addresses and phone numbers : the delivery and the invoicing of the services you order, with the provision of a service ordered by you as a legal basis.

You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data, but you understand that the provision of certain services becomes impossible if you refuse the data processing.

If you are already included in our mailing list for receiving marketing material in paper and / or electronic form, Sadechaf bv may use your details for sending marketing and other material with regard to our products or services.

You may withdraw your permission at any time, without justification and free of charge, by sending an e-mail to info@sadechaf.eu. An unsubscribe link is included at the bottom of each promotional e-mail message.

Sadechaf bv shall not sell, rent or make your personal data commercially available to third parties.

The personal data are stored and processed by us only as long as required to achieve the purposes  of the processing, depending on the contractual relationship between yourself and Sadechaf bv.

You have the right to access and consult your personal data at any time, free of charge.

5.2.       Right to rectification, erasure and restriction:

6.1.       We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorized access, accidental disclosure to third parties, and against all other forms of unlawful processing of these data.

6.2.       Sadechaf bv can under no circumstances be held liable for any direct or consequential damages arising from the incorrect or unlawful use of the personal data of a third party.

7.1.       In order to process your personal data, we authorize our employees to have access to your personal data.

7.2.       We guarantee that the employees or representatives who have access to your personal data are bound to the same obligations with respect to the data processing as those which we are bound to by virtue of this Privacy Statement.

 

Article 8 – Transfer of personal data to third parties

8.1.       For the delivery of our products and materials, we frequently rely on external shipping service providers. These shipping service providers use the delivery information (address, name of contact) which you have provided in order to deliver the goods. By placing an order, you expressly authorize Sadechaf bv to pass on your  data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery.

8.2.      A so-called  “Data Protection Agreement” between the shipping service provider and Sadechaf bv ensures that your personal data shall be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9.1       Sadechaf bv shall not be liable for the content of Websites accessed through Iinks on the Website of Sadechaf bv. Visitors understand that the privacy policies of any such Websites may be different from Sadechaf bv’s privacy policies.

9.2.       A link to another Website cannot be held as an explicit approval of the content of that Website and the correctness of the data cannot be permanently guaranteed.
